    An amorphous metal (also known as metallic glass or glassy metal) is a solid metallic material, usually an alloy, with disordered atomic-scale metals are crystalline in their solid state, which means they have a highly ordered arrangement of ous metals are non-crystalline, and have a glass-like unlike common glasses, such as window glass, which are. The magnetic sensors based on soft magnetic effects of amorphous fibers are one of the highlights in scientific research in recent years. The amorphous fibers not only have excellent mechanical properties but also have unique magnetic properties, such as high permeability. As a result, sensors made of this kind of material can show the characteristics of sensitivity and durability. Recent research on some topics in amorphous magnetism is reviewed and questions are posed which should be answered by future work. The topics are i) appearance of magnetism in binary alloys of the 3d transition elements Fe, Co and Ni with sp elements, ii) conflicting ground states of amorphous iron (ferromagnetic, asperomagnetic, paramagnetic), inferred by extrapolating different Fe//xM//1//0. While magnetic devices are used in a range of applications, the availability of up-to-date books on magnetic measurements is quite limited.
